Kitsch Commercials – Kodak Instamatic!
It’s swingin’, baby! Imagine, four flashes in one, and in color, of course! This slice of 60′s modtastic partying is just the scene for perfect picture taking, at least, that’s what Kodak thinks. Not one, not two, not three! But four blurry psychodelic pictures! Yeah, baby, yeah!

Wow – the epitome of grooviness ! Not one or two but four flashes from a flashcube ! How groovy can you get ? LOL !
Totally outta sight, man! I remember the Flashcube.
I seem to remember that after flashing, the bulb in each of the four chambers would have this silver, black and blue melting burn thing happening. You know, you could sit back and dig, if you weren’t from Squaresville.
I remember how modern this seemed at the time. LOL
OMG my mom still has one of these cameras!
wow that’s soo funny ! my Grandma had that camera i remember her taking pictures with it and she had to change the cube cause it burnt out . I loved it !
I remember those cameras, and the flash cube. Only one problem with the commercial, it shows the guy popping the used cube in his pocket, I remember those things got hot immediatly after use.
i collect classical cameras and i found a kodak instamatic 300 camera at value village for $2.99 it was amazing… infact i am going to looka t it right now..lol
I want a flashcube!! Primo!
i found a instamatic 174 cameraat the second hand store with 2 rolls of its film and i just wanted to know if they still devlup the film? and make it?
LOOK AT THE OLD 126 CARTRIDGE!
I miss the flash cubes…thanks to them, i had a childhood full of spells of blindness followed by spots in front of my eyes for hours! Made family outings fun, especially playing Lawn Darts after: “*thunk* “GAHHHHH!” “Oh, poopy! Rob! I’m sorry!”
Man, Kodak was King back in the day. Just drop in the film, pop on the cube- no threading film or loading glass bulbs one at a time- looks funny now with mega GB memory cards and electronic flash, but 40 years ago this was CRAZY!
